Marjoram


Marjoram is a perennial herbaceous plant of Labiatae family. Marjoram leaves and buds are used in dried state as a spicery. It is a piquant seasoning for meat and fish soups, salads, vegetable dishes. Marjoram is added to the various sauces: sour cream, tomato and others. It is used also for preparing sausages, dishes of hash, pies, cheeses, tomatoes and cucumbers canning.
