Spices and spicery

  Spices and spicery are aromatic flavoring substances which are used for cooking of various dishes. A peculiar feature of spices is its adding to food in extremely small quantities, significantly influencing on the taste, aroma, and sometimes (very rarely - such as turmeric) - on the visual properties of dishes. In contrast to spicery which also belong to spices, spices are substances unnecessarily of vegetative origin. Spices and spicery are the flavoring substances added to food to make it proper odor, taste, color, which are contributing for food perception and assimilation.
