Barberry

It is the dried whole and ground sour-sweet barberry berry. It is perfect seasoning for many eastern dishes: for shashlick, pilaf, kebab, mutton broth. It is used as a sour seasoning for meat dishes, in piquant sauces to the game, goose. Delicious wines and liqueurs are prepared from the sour barberry berries.
